The BABA has decided to delay the start of 75th Season until May of 2021

 - June 1st, 2020 from the league office-

The Badger Amateur Baseball Association will not play sanctioned games in 2020.

Due to all local, state, federal, and CDC health regulations, planning of a safe 2020 season for Players, Umpires, and our many fans, it was unlikely to be a successful or enjoyable season.  A number of teams are not allowed to use their parks for group activities; thus, scheduling would have been almost impossible.

Look for the BABA back in 2021 as we will attempt to make the 75th season a memorable one.

Some Parks will be available to have Tournaments or Exhibition games.

Watch you Teams Facebook accounts for times and places.

The EAST WEST will continue to plan for the September 2020 Bert Thiel Golf Classic at Clintonville Golf Course.

BABA Coronavirus Update

- April 29th, 2020 from the league office -

The Badger Amateur Baseball Association to delay the start of its 75th season.
The BABA will delay the start of the 2020 season due to the on going battle with the Covid-19 virus. The league will follow all local, state, federal, and CDC health regulations as it moves forward with the planning of the 2020 season. The league has cancelled the June 20th All-star/Alumni game and Historical Display that was to celebrate its 75th year. When and IF the restrictions are lifted, the league has alternate schedules put in place to accommodate different starting dates. Like the rest of the leagues through out the state we have no clear cut date of when we may start. The stay-at-home order runs through May 26th and the state will have to enter Phase 2 of the Badger Bounce Back plan before groups of more than 50 can meet. Even then we are not sure if we will be allowed to proceed. The league will make a determination at that time as to the fate of the season. Our main concern right now is to keep everyone healthy and put no one at risk. The BABA will issue an update once there is more information to pass along.

Northern Division Coronavirus Update

- April 19th, 2020 -

The Wisconsin Safer-At-Home Order has been extended to May 26th.

The current Northern Division plan is to play a 7 week schedule from June 28th to August 9th.
This schedule would mean that all teams would play everyone in the division once.
All teams would also have 3 home games and 3 away games and 1 bye week.
June 7th to June 21st game weekends would be used for practice/exhibition games and would not count toward the season statistics.
This website will be updated as more information becomes available.
Stay safe.
